Perspectives on Google Chrome OS

Oh Fake Steve Jobs you are so wrong!(new post about FSJs mistakes)

I am going to give you some perspective on Chrome OS.

Googles perspective:
#1 Main goal is to control cloud.
#2 putting pressure on Microsoft so that it lowers windows price, office price and have less money/time on search+cloud...
#3 More users on web, google earns more.
#4 who said that OS can't be monetized? Are you sure 100%?

From Geeks perspective:
They will give it a try.If they find it good, they will stick to it.Will they find it good?
Yes! A big yes! If google can have this peice of cake many other peices will follow automaticly! They influence others what to use or not.

#1 It will have google's simplicity. simple UI.easy to use.easy to personalize.
#2 There will be apps! Lots of apps. Why? beacuse OS will have web apps!
#3 Geeks use web more than any others. What will be the easiest way to beonline?
#4 Geeks use many softwares/do so many things. When they will see it doesn't crash they will love it!
#5 Open source.Easy to tweak.

From Users perspective:
#1 As clouds getting safer, more users are moving to clouds.Chrome OS will be the easiest one to get a user into the web world.
#2 They will find PCs at lower prices.
#3 Chrome OS is not going to crash like PCs!
#4 As web is getting faster it is easy to be online most of the time. So why care about carrying a  pen drive/laptop or so? Anywhere, any time you can access  your docs,files,images...everything!
#5 Secure.Open source, remember? Chrome OS won't need thousands of anti viruses.

From OEMs perspective:
#1 No extra charge.
#2 Spend more time and money on hardware and design (to beat apple)

From Developers perspective:
Web apps are easier to build than desktop apps.
So more devs will work on it.
So chrome OS will have more apps.
And there already are lots of apps.

Android effect :
Most users are/will be familiar with google apps(google cloud) specially android users. When they will hear/read about FREE google chrome OS they will be interested.
Same apps both on your PC and mobile (those are web apps though),familiarity will have a huge effect.

Dear readers do you have anything to say about it?
